We know that weather is a three-dimensional phenomenon even though all of the charts and diagrams used by pilots for preflight weather analysis are ordinarily depicted in two dimensions. But given that weather is constantly changing, there is another dimension that pilots should be sure to consider, namely time. Knowing the past and future evolution of the weather provides a dynamic perspective that can truly add value. In this workshop, we’ll look at the loops of several weather products to help identify important details and trends that ordinarily go unnoticed.
