Scott C. Dennstaedt
Scott C. Dennstaedt owns and operates AvWxWorkshops.com and
Chesapeake Aviation Training, Inc. He is a former NWS meteorologist and now is
an FAA-certificated instrument flight instructor specializing in technically
advanced aircraft (TAA) and aviation weather training. He is an IFR
magazine contributing editor and contributes frequently to Plane & Pilot,
Pilot Journal, Aviation Consumer and Twin & Turbine
magazines. Scott is also a proud member of the Transportation Speakers
Association.
Background and Experience
Scott participated in the initial development of the Cirrus
Pilot Proficiency Program (CPPP) for the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association.
More recently, he also participated in the development of the Cessna Advanced
Aircraft Recurrent Training (CAART) program for the Cessna Advanced Aircraft
Club. Scott is a former Cessna 400/350 (formerly Columbia) factory instructor
and former Cirrus Standardized Instructor. He provides nationwide flight
training including accelerated instrument training, advanced avionics training
and/or recurrent training for owners of pre-owned Cessna 400 and 350, Cirrus
SR22 and SR20 aircraft and many other technically advanced aircraft (TAA).
Scott is an expert with the Garmin G1000, Garmin Perspective and Avidyne

Scott has logged over 3,500 hours of flight time (2,500
hours in technically advanced aircraft) and has been flying since 1998. He's
always had a love for weather and aviation since childhood and is enjoying his
true vocation of teaching.
